New painting...A Garden. All water color on a specially treated stretched canvas. Takes longer to dry and isn't really
dark, so you end up repainting things to darken them.
The following picture is a watercolor on canvas board that's been treated to allow the use of watercolor. It takes several
coats with drying between to get the colors dark enough. If you try to add watercolor too soon, you end up lifting the existing
color off the canvas. It dries more slowly than paper as well.
The model for this was my daughter. She wanted me to paint her as a faerie.
