I went through a period of painting on masonite. It's a lovely flat surface, but any flaws such as bumps, shows up easily.

Taken from a photograph of a man done up like an angel. I sketched out what I wanted, altered the wings, then used this
to transfer to a masonite board I'd prepped by painting the background first.

I went with mauves, roses, pinks primarily. The wings contained a pearlized white. The picture doesn't do
the irridescence justice.
The character of Uriel is written by myself in the Sanctuary Pbem, but as the Angel of Death instead of
light.
Historical or theological writings refer to him as being the angel that drove Adam and Eve from Paradise
after they sinned.
